The LIFEPAK CR2 Defibrillator is a lightweight, portable defibrillator unit that can be mounted in a public area for quick use in a cardia emergency. This device is user-friendly for untrained bystanders and responders, with pictoral and vocal instructions on where to place electrodes and when to deliver chest compressions. This device can deliver shocks within 35 seconds, at a much faster rate than other AEDs on market. 

The device utilizes ClearVoice technology to detect the noise level of an area and adjust the instructional volume as needed. The device then analyzes the patient for shockable rhythm while the responder is delivering chest compressions. It will vocally instruct the responder on when to deliver compressions, and when to step away from the patient to deliver a shock. A child mode is also available, which delivers low-energy shocks at a more appropriate level. 

Each unit comes equipped with the LIFELINKcentral capability, which links up to the LIFELINKcentral AED Program Manager. This software tracks all the LIFEPAK CR2 devices within a public area, allowing managers to track the status and locations of the devices. When a LIFEPAK CR2 is being used in an emergency, the device transmits patient data over WiFI to the LIFELINKcentral Program Manager, which in turns transmits the data to emergency responders and hospitals waiting to receive the patient.
