The Process Challenge Device (PCD) contains lumens that are more difficult for vaporized hydrogen peroxide sterilant to penetrate. As this device undergoes sterilization with your hollow instruments, the results will show how effective the sterilizer has been. It's an easy method to detect if the sterilizer has been effective on your tools.
