The Stryker HeartSine samaritan PAD 360P is a compact, portable, fully-automatic AED with clearly labeled instructions for first-time users.
Warranty: 8 Years.
When an AED is used within the first minutes of a sudden cardiac arrest, the patient's survival rate can increase from 5% to 70%. This user-friendly HeartSine 360P is designed to be utilized quickly and has the instructions for use clearly printed on the top of the AED. The device uses both visual cues and voice prompts to instruct users on electrode pad placement, how to stand clear, and when it's safe to touch the patient.
Aside from the voice prompts and visual cues, the device only has one ON/OFF button to avoid confusion. It delivers defibrillation automatically by analyzing the heart rhythm and determining if shocks are needed, which relieves the user from having to deliver shocks. This device is also self-monitoring and has a System Status Ready indicator light that flashes to show when it's ready for operation.
PAD stands for Public Access Defibrillator, making this AED ideal for placement in public areas. The device has the ability to administer shocks measuring 150 - 200 joules. See the Accessories tab for more information on carry cases or mounting units.
