The Image 1 S3 Endoscopic Imaging System is the first completely digital camera system by Karl Storz. Digital source sampling technology facilitates the fully digital transfer of information with no loss in quality using an A/D converter, as well as loss-free data storage on all known digital media. Alongside standard video signals, the camera also supports other digital video formats such as DV and SDI. The Image 1 platform includes a large selection of camera heads for a customized configuration for different specialties.
