The MD 2000cc AquaVage Canister (#AV2000D) includes the sterile Toomey 60cc Syringe along with 6' of the Harvest canister evacuation hose/tubing.
The AV2000D Canister is a sterile, single-use, closed system for fat harvesting. The container can be connected in-line with any aspiration pump that has variable vacuum control.
The fat is harvested using your preferred liposuction cannula at reduced flow volumes (less than or equal to 18 inHg / 500 mmHg). The AquaVage is placed in-line between the harvest cannula and waste canister/suction source. Suction pressure is reduced to 15 to 18" Hg.
The AquaVage container separates the fat and fluids which allows the surgeon to remove first the fluid portion and then the fat cells from the container via a sterile and closed method. Lactated Ringers solution is placed in the bottom of the canister to enable separation of the fat as it flows in. When fat hits the Lactated Ringers, it separates from the waste portion and floats to the top. Once the decantation process is complete, fat is removed via the extration tube with a luer lock or Toomey syringe.
The AV2000D is compatible with all aspirators and instruments.
The 2000cc AquaVage Canister is commonly purchased with the AquaVage Collection Stand (#A(more...)
