This device is a non-invasive infrared device mounted to a mobile, wheeled stand, and allows physicians to view blood vessels and capillaries just beneath the skin anywhere on the body.
The iiSM VPism-S Vein Probe - Stand Unit provides accurate placement of needle injections or accurate observation for diagnosing conditions with veins and capillaries. The touchscreen enables caregivers to zoom in and out of injection sites, as well as pause and start live video and take pictures in-process. This device is most ideal for patients who have difficult-to-find veins, and will protect them from repetitive incorrect injections.
The stand unit is easy to assemble out of the box, and comes with a wheeled base and tray. The camera and touchscreen are mounted together on a mobile arm that can be adjusted in nearly any direction. For patients whose veins are deeper than the 10 mm probe limit, physicians can use the SLism-F Specialized Light Source (sold separately) for a closer, more accurate look.
