The Dynarex Hemostat Gauze Dressing (200/Case) is a water-soluble dressing for the management of topical wound and temporarily controls bleeding. Upon contact with blood, the hemostat gauze instantly converts to a glucose gel which expands to put direct pressure on blood vessels and control bleeding. These dressings are best for topical wounds, minor cuts and lacerations, and come in three sizes.
