Each belt sensor provides users with reusable polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) sensor modules that can be connected to any of the three durable, and machine washable straps. The sensors provide an accurate measurement of respiratory effort and consistent polarity.

This U.S.-made Dymedix PerfectFit 2 Pediatric Effort Belt Kit - Alice 5 (1.5 mm) is compatible with Alice 5 PSG systems and uses PVDF sensors. PVDF film is sensitive to both temperature change and pressure and is the fastest signal transmitter in the sleep sensor industry (1,000 times faster than a traditional thermistor). This product complies with American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) technical specifications.
