The Bovie Resistick II Electrosurgical Rocker Switch Pencil is expertly coated with PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) which allows it to move more effectively through tissue because it resists eschar build-up, making it much more efficient during surgical procedures. It utilizes a 3-pin industry-standard connection and is compatible with most electrosurgical generators.
Warranty: Until Use or Expiration.
Unlike the common stainless steel electrodes with a propensity to accumulate the discarded blood and tissue, the Resistick II coated electrode simply wipes clean. Just use a damp sponge or cloth to almost effortlessly clean the debris off. Standard stainless steel electrodes are unquestionably much more difficult to clean.
To guarantee the consistency and thickness of the Resistick II coating, Bovie utilizes an Ionic Backscatter measuring system which helps promote accurate and consistent coating thickness. By controlling the thickness of the coating, Resistick II gives the surgeon optimal performance.
The disposable electrosurgical pencil comes in a box of 50 sterile, individual packages.
